Assam government wins ' Nobel Peace Prize"

Guwahati June 24: In a pleasantly shocking development the Government of Assam was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for saving Guwahati from the clutches of Akhil Gogoi on June 22.According to the Nobel Committee in Oslo "Tarun Gogoi government showed remarkable composure in controlling the public and subsequently arrested Akhil within 24 hours .In a country like India where a criminal like Raja takes 3 months to be jailed Akhil being arrested within 48 hours without any enquiry is indeed commendable."

A visibly elated Tarun Gogoi exclaimed "Akhil is a criminal ..see News Live you will know ..I am not criminal as shown in DY365.Akhil was the main culprit for 22 June Guwahati incident ..see NewsLive analysis you will know.That is also the matter."Another senior heavyweight minister Himanta Biswa Sarma declared that the Nobel Peace Prize was infact the acceptance that Congress is not Gunda Bahini as many would like to believe but infact a pious Gandhian organisation.

There was mass jubilation all over Assam.In happiness junior MLA's and senior MLA's of Congress danced to "Akhil Badnaam Hui Darling Assam Key Liye" sung by Zubeen Garg in NewsLive.

The average Assamese public is also quite happy with the way Assam Government has been rewarded.A general man Pijush Hazarika was quoted as saying "Assam wants peace.See Congress got elected for a third term also Akhil is a culprit as many of my friends in Facebook have given status updates.Hence it is a great news that Nobel Committee has also read status updates,heard Atanu Bhuyan and decided to give us the prize."

Meanwhile in an unrelated development Rubul Ali's father received 50000 rupees from Assam Government.Tarun Gogoi was personally present to give away the cheque to Rubul Ali father and wished him all luck in his life and also gave him a Congress membership form.
